Following are excerpts of activities reported by the Greene County sheriff’s office:
Sunday, Jan. 5: At 1:53 pm a deputy investigated a complaint of a vicious animal in the 800 block of E. Sandoe St in Grand Junction.
Saturday, Jan. 4: At 3:25 am Jeremy Andrews, 36, of Scranton was booked into the jail on a charge of driving while license barred*.
Friday, Jan. 3: At 7:53 am a deputy assisted with a cow out in the 1700 block of 222nd St west of Jefferson.
Thursday, Jan. 2: At 6:41 am a deputy investigated a single vehicle in the ditch due to road conditions. At 7:16 am a deputy assisted a motorist stuck on 235th St and Quint Ave in Junction Township. At 8:11 am a deputy assisted a motorist stuck at the same location. At 8:47 am a deputy assisted a motorist stuck on Hwy 4 near 190th St north of Jefferson. At 9:22 am a deputy assisted a motorist stuck in the 1100 block of N Ave north of Jefferson. At 9:32 am a deputy investigated a theft in the 900 block of Cedar St in Scranton. At 10:04 am a deputy investigated a gas drive-off at the Paton Pit Stop.
Wednesday, Jan. 1: At 4:15 pm a deputy investigated a single-vehicle accident in the 700 block of L Ave in Bristol Township. Stephanie Bailey of Churdan lost control of a 2008 Honda Civic, rolling into the ditch and striking a fence. The driver was transported by Greene County Ambulance with minor injuries. The vehicle was a total loss. At 4:24 pm a deputy investigated a hunting violation in the 1400 block of Jordan Ave in Jackson Township. At 4:47 pm Christopher Gilliland, 27, of Jefferson was booked into the jail on a charge of domestic abuse assault*.
